There are literally scores of web hosting companies available to choose from. When we say scores, we mean hundreds of thousands and new ones popping up every day. A good many of these web hosts satisfy the minimum requirements to host WordPress blogs. That’s what makes deciding on who to go with such a time consuming task.
Our Internet Marketing Team has tested and utilized the services of more web hosting companies than you possibly can research on your own. After toning down our initial research, we have come up with what we believe to be four of the best web hosting companies for bloggers. These hosts were chosen because simply put; they cut the mustard. Most importantly, these are ones we use.
We have a number of accounts with Hostgator and for good reason; they take great care of us and will no doubt take great care of you. In terms of blogging, Hostgator uses cPanel. That means installing a WordPress blog only takes a few clicks and you’re done. If you get stuck, no problem! They’ve got a tech support chat room that operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. All in all, Hostgator is one of the best web hosting companies for the blogger and Internet Marketer.
Like Hostgator, BlueHost uses a simple “WordPress Auto-Install.” In addition, new WordPress updates are usually made available within 24 hours. In the control panel, you have the option of using Fantastico or SimpleScripts to activate and your launch your blogs. I list them because of their longevity, tech support and simple to navigate control panel. And last but not least, their pricing is awesome!
If you don’t know, we need to inform you that HostMonster is actually owned by BlueHost. There’s not much difference in between the two companies. As of the time this review was published Hostmonster did have a setup fee of $30.00. Personally, with this competitive market, It makes no sense for any shared hosting company to charge a setup fee but aside from that issue, they are a good hosting company.
LunarPages is simply a professional, top notch, reliable web hosting company. Be advised that their pricing is slightly more expensive than their competitors but for good reason, their quality is better! This is a top tier no frills web hosting company that works behind the scenes to make sure that whether you’re hosting one blog, ten or twenty, that your sites stay up and are fully functional 99.9% of the time.
To be clear, I could have listed numerous other web hosting companies but at Get Blog Help, our mission is to help reduce your learning curve by assisting in getting your blog up and running as quickly as possible. And vetting twenty or more web hosting companies is not my idea of good time management.
